Smoking?

There is no smoking in any part of the residences.

How are the rooms?

The rooms are furnished with a bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair.

Are the rooms cleaned?

Yes, they are cleaned every week on the same day as well as the bed linen. We also clean the kitchen and other public rooms daily apart from the weekends. In Asbury residents clean their own rooms.

How many students are there and where do they come from?

We have 21 flats and 27 rooms in Asbury and 53 rooms in Wesley. On average they come from 20 countries which could be from all over the world.

What do the fees cover?

Fees cover your rent for a room, electricity, heating, water and cooking facilities.

Do you have any sporting facilities?

We have a table tennis, a pool table and tennis court at the back garden at Wesley.

What washing facilities do you have?

There are washing machines which cost £2.75 a load, £2.00 for a dryer and spin dryer which is free of charge.

As part of the Methodist church do you only take christians?

No, the houses were set up to take people of all faith or none.

What happens if I do not have any cooking utensils?

We provide a set of kitchen utensils, which includes frying pan, saucepan and lid, large and small plates, glass, mug, knife, fork and spoon.

Is there any car parking?

There are parking spaces available at both houses.

What social activities are organised each year?

There is a Welcome Party, Christmas Party, BBQ's in the summer and International Meals.
